At an early age, this volunteer developed an interest in philanthropy, growing to admire the work of Albert Schweitzer. After spending a month volunteering in Kenya, he traveled to the Marshall Islands, where he spent a year teaching 6th grade. Upon graduation from college, he began a career in accounting and finance and continued his volunteer service at the San Francisco Food Bank and later the Laguna Beach Homeless Shelter. These life experiences reinforced in his mind the belief that consciously choosing to assist those in need was not only a moral responsibility but also a privilege. He currently resides in Coeur D’Alene, ID.
